If you're using Chrome, the right column of this blog isn't displaying correctly. Switch to Firefox. If you're using the iPad, you're a tool. If you're using IE, go kill yourself.
(This person is kinda upset that I dissed their favorite browser. I actually use Chrome and I like it, but for some reason the layout here is different than on Firefox. And of course, the iPad and IE just plain suck. You tool.)

I got the idea for this blog as I was driving down the highway going to school one day. I heard someone on the radio (probably Melissa Block of All Things Considered) comment on the fact that you learn something new everyday, as she was setting up a news report. I didn't even pay attention to the report--my mind was set on creating a blog in which I post an item that I learn about each day.

I did a quick Google search (probably that night) to see if anyone had previously thought of this concept. A few people did, but none had the crazed tenacity to update their blogs every single day, as I was planning on doing.

And the rest is history.
